Abstract
In a group of patients with the chrornic fibroid pulmonary tuberculosis, potassium iodide in a dosage of 1 gm daily plus P. A. S and streptomycin or P. A. S and l.N. H. were given. Roentgenographic and bacteriologic results showed no significant improvement in these cases. Potassium iodide does not appear to have harmful effects, in the dosage used, on the course of this form of pulmonary tuberculosis.
