Abstract
The author experimented on freeze dried B. C. G. vaccine production with newly installed freeze dryer, (Model VFD-6FVMS-13F- R) (DAI-SHINKU), at N.I.H. The survival rate of immediately before and after freeze dry was 45%. It contained practicable viable units more than 9 months storage in refrigerator and up to 6 months storage at room temperature. If stored at high temperature in the incubator the viable rate was 43% after 1 month and 2% after 3 months.
