Abstract |
Down’s sγndrome is one of the most common conditions associated with a chromosomal abnormality, occurring approximately once in each 600 births. But the incidence in Korea has not yet been reported.
We have sun a case of Down’s syndrome suffering from frequent respiratory illness since childhood.
A rare congenital anomaly of the tracheobronchial system and bronchiectasis were confirmed through examinations incldiung chromosomal study, bronchofiberscopy and bronchogram.
We report this case with review of the literatures. |
