Right Intermediate Bronchial Mass and Sudden Onset of Respiratory Symptoms

Abstract
Mucoepidermoid carcinoma is a rare tumor arising in the bronchus A patient who suffered from asthma for 2 years and who experienced severa1 days of coughing, fever, dyspnea and right 10wer chest pain had a mucoepidermoid carcinoma at the main stem bronchus branching to the right midd1e and 10wer 10be. It occluded most of the midd1e 10be bronchus and partially of the 10wer 10be. Lobectomy of the right middle and lower lobe was performed and it was curative. Microscopic examination showed a low grade mucoepidermid carcinoma. This is a report of a rare case of mucoepidermoid cancer at the main stem bronchus branching to the middle and lower lobe of the right with review of the literatures.
