Abstract |
A group of papillary endobronchial tumors is a rare primary pulmonary disease. It ranges from non-invasive epithelial cell tumor such as benign solitary squamous cell papilloma to exophytic endobronchial epidermoid carcinoma. As a papillary tumor and carcinoma in situ of the bronchus, a papillary carcinoma in situ of the bronchus is also very rare. It is known as non-invasive papillary tumor but can transform to invasive squamous cell carcinoma We experienced a case of papillaπ carcinoma in situ of the bronchus in a 61- year-old male patient,
presented with hemoptysis, chronic parenchimal inflammation, and endobronchial mass. We report the case with brief review of the literature. |
