Abstract
Giant Lymph Node Hyperplasia (Castleman’s disease) is a rare benign lesion. It develops mostly in the mediastinum, but also in the neck areas, intra-abdominally, retroperitoneally, in the muscle, lung parenchyme, or multicentrically in the multi-lymph nodes and spleen, or elsewhere. There are two types of histology; the hyaline vascular type and the plasma cell type. Complete surgical excision is the treatment of choice. Recently, the authors experienced a case of giant Iymph node hyperplaisa(Castleman’s disease), hyaline-vascular type, located in the right hilar area. Now we report this case with reviews of previously reported literature.
