Alveolar hemorrhage is a feature of several immune and idiopathic disorders. The specific etiology of alveolar hemorrhage is determined by clinical examination, serologic assay, and percutaneous renal biopsy with immunofluorescent stain. We experienced a case of polyarteritis nodosa which was a form of systemic necrotizing vasculitis, associated with alveolar hemorrhage was effectively treated by high dose pulse methylprednisolone.
