Abstract
Coccidioides immitis is a fungus endemic to United States, Mexico etc. The initial description of coccidioidomycosis is credited to Posada, who reported in 1892 a soldier with desseminated disease hospitalized in Buenos Aires It is estimated that in the U.S. alone about 100,000 people are infected annually. We describea healthy 35 year of age man who developed pulmonary coccidioidomycosis.
