Abstract
In order to establish a correlation of virulence between the drug-resistant and sensitive strains in experimental animals. The survival duration of animal, microscope lesions in organs and the degree of isolation of bacilli from the lesions of organs were observed in inoculated mice and rabbits. Inoculated into the vein of the mice and rabbits were Ravenal strain resistant to 100 r per ml of SM and PAS respectively and also those resistant to 10r of INH The SM and PAS-resistant tubercle bacilli were strongly virulent to the animals more than the original sensitive strains, while INH-resistant strains were weaker in virulence than the original strain.
